My ancestors are from Japan, Germany, and UK, but I don’t feel at home, unless I’m in good ole USA. I grew up surfing the waves of the Pacific Ocean and snowboarding the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. Nowadays, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our pup, and friends in the great state of Tennessee!

Halloween is my favorite “holiday” #SpookySeason. It’s that time of year where the chill creeps in, the skies become darker, and the spirits begin to stir as we head into the final stretch of the year (Q4). Having a little fun by dressing up and getting out of the comfort zone ain’t too bad.

Designing functional, visual works of art is my passion. I maintain a balance of creative, technical, and practical skills, and embrace the kaizen philosophy. The constant improvement can be achieved via retrospection, innovation, or education, so I am open to critical feedback and regularly research various markets to stay up to date on the current trends.

Team environments that are agile, fast-paced, and collaborative are where I thrive. My best ideas are usually built upon data-driven decision that are cultivated through crowdsourcing. I also can contribute independently, because I’m always ready for a challenge. If we remain solution-oriented, adaptive to situations, and the believe in the competitive nature of merit, we will develop processes and enhance products to build a better world together.
